Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiographer to perform imaging procedures and assist with diagnosis. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program and a valid NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include operating a range of imaging equipment, preparing and explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring safety and comfort throughout imaging sessions. Preference given to those with healthcare facility experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
