Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiographer to perform imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a Radiologist. You will generate high-quality radiographs and maintain records as directed.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient history intake, procedure explanations, and safety monitoring. This role requires NJ licensure, ARRT, and BLS certification, with preference for experience in a health care facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of radiographer experience or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Preferred: Experience in a Health Care Facility or hospital system.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures and treatments per state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Operates imaging equipment, including setup, usage, troubleshooting, and sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses questions.
• Maintains equipment and monitors safety and patient comfort.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and revises protocols as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
