The ideal candidate holds an accredited radiography degree and NJ RT license, with ARRT and BLS certifications. Prior healthcare facility experience is preferred and ownership of standard imaging equipment care is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience working in a Health Care Facility, Hospital System or relevant area.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
