Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks a Radiographer to perform radiologic imaging with diverse equipment, under radiologist direction, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. You will prepare and maintain patient records, uphold safety standards, and support daily imaging operations across departments.

The role requires completing an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS certification, with 0–3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
