Responsibilities

• Schedules patients for procedures, post-operative appointments, pre-admission testing, testing, surgery, follow ups and wait list processes.
• Maintains scheduling applications and data; coordinates location of procedures, staff and resources.
• Communicates schedules daily; reviews with advisor and updates staff with revisions.
• Acts as liaison with internal departments and external resources and agencies.
• Coordinates paperwork and preauthorization; obtains referrals for procedures.
• Documents procedures and resources; tracks service and equipment usage; logs revisions.
• Contracts with vendors to coordinate delivery of equipment and its delivery to patient residences.
