Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

• Schedules patients for procedures and appointments, and communicates details of location and time to patients.
• Maintains scheduling applications and patient data; coordinates resources and staff for procedures.
• Communicates schedules daily and updates staff as revisions occur; posts schedules.
• Acts as liaison to internal departments and external resources for scheduling and preauthorization.
• Coordinates to ensure paperwork is complete and preauthorization obtained; processes referrals for procedures.
• Maintains documentation of procedures and resources; tracks usage and revisions.
