Responsibilities

• Assist with managing expectations surrounding pre and post patient care.
• Obtain or review patient demographic, insurance, and referral information.
• Review clinical records for completeness including authorization and signatures.
• Answer department phones: triage, answer questions, direct calls, document messages.
• Greet visitors and callers, handle inquiries, direct to appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth workflow in the practice.
• Provide coverage for co-workers when needed.
• Communicate with physicians, managers, and staff regularly.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Follow university policies and safeguard assets.
• This list may expand to include other duties as necessary.
• Coordinate complex patient schedules across multiple teams.
