Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL is seeking an Oncology Scheduler to coordinate complex chemotherapy and cancer treatment schedules, including infusion, transfusion, labs, surgery and radiation for high-acuity patients.

You will collaborate with infusion nursing, radiation therapy teams and physicians to align treatment plans, schedule across multiple days and ensure timely access to care while managing changes in patient status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year scheduling experience with complex algorithms and 1 year of customer service experience.
• Oncology related scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex chemotherapy and cancer treatment schedules for multi-day cycles.
• Schedule infusion, transfusion, labs, surgery and radiation appointments.
• Collaborate with Infusion Clinical Nurse Manager, Radiation Oncology team and physicians.
• Ensure timely scheduling, verify prior authorizations and coordinate patient transitions.
• Communicate with patients and care teams to optimize clinic flow and patient experience.
