Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks an experienced Test Director to lead all testing activities for the RADAR system development and deployment program. You will plan, coordinate, and execute developmental and operational testing to confirm performance, reliability, and requirement compliance, while guiding a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

As IPT Lead and CAM, you will manage budgets, coordinate with government agencies, and present status, risks, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• 10+ years in systems testing or related field.
• 5+ years in RADAR testing, development, or operations.
• Experience planning and executing developmental and operational testing.
• Strong understanding of RADAR principles and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of DoD testing policies and directives.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience presenting test reports and briefings.
• Active security clearance required; TS may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and schedules for RADAR testing.
• Define test objectives, scope, and success criteria.
• Coordinate with program management, engineering, and logistics for test readiness.
• Direct and oversee laboratory, field, and operational testing.
• Monitor test execution for adherence to plans and safety protocols.
• Serve as primary decision-maker during test events.
• Travel to customer testing sites up to five months at a time.
• Lead IPT and manage CAM budget.
• Coordinate with government test agencies and present status.
• Oversee collection, processing, and analysis of test data.
