Job summary

Leidos Defense is seeking a RADAR Integration and Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL. You will work with customers and contractors to execute program requirements and develop hardware and software test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance.

The role involves building and using HWIL test platforms, data analysis with Wireshark and debug tools, and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders while ensuring robust radar/RF system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 4+ years experience or MS with 2+ years.
• US Citizenship and active secret clearance.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
• Execute test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.
• Create, modify, and use Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.
• Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Perform test data analysis via data log parser, Wireshark, and/or software debug tools.
• Brief both internal and external parties on test results and data.
• Debugging software and/or hardware with various tools.
