Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Software Engineer II for the REPA department in Marlborough, MA. You will develop modern C++ on Linux, leverage MATLAB, and apply DevOps practices to build, test, and support radar systems.

Collaborating with hardware and firmware teams, you will help advance radar capabilities and patch deployed systems. A STEM degree with 2+ years of experience and eligibility for Interim Secret clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science/Technology/Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C++ (C++14/17/20) and OO design.
• Experience in Linux environments and build/debug tools.
• Experience with DevOps concepts and tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• MATLAB experience for algorithm development and numerical analysis.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop C/C++/Matlab tools on Linux to build/test radar components.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware engineers to address challenges and deliver capabilities.
• 100% onsite on 1st shift in Marlborough, MA.
