Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Radar Systems Department in the SE&TC organization to help define requirements, concepts of operations and algorithms, and to execute integration and analysis activities. You will collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to transform ideas into integrated, reliable, mission‑ready radar solutions.

The role is onsite in MA (Tewksbury or Marlborough) with up to 20% travel to RTX facilities and customer locations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with systems hardware, systems/software requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and/or other programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Develop radar processing algorithm.
• Develop Radar systems/software requirements.
• Be responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
• Be responsible for analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
• Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
• This role can be based out of either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA.
• May require up to 20% travel to RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations to support test events and mission execution.
