Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned systems engineer to lead radar system requirements and architecture definition from an onsite location in the US. The role involves prototyping new algorithms to improve performance and working with software development and test teams to ensure correct implementation.

You will analyze radar performance data, identify deficiencies, and present plans and results to stakeholders. A STEM degree and extensive experience in signal processing and algorithm development are

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with Matlab, C/C++, Java, and/or DOORS.
Experience with systems analysis, algorithms, requirements development, issue investigation/resolution and/or signal processing techniques.

Responsibilities

Leading a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms.
Collaborating with software development and integration & test teams to ensure effective implementation.
Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements.
Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers.
