Job summary

RTX is seeking Radar Systems Engineers to design and develop advanced radar and sensor systems for warfighter missions. You will define system architecture, develop requirements, and perform analysis across the full product lifecycle with DOORS, MATLAB, Python, and C++.

You’ll contribute to hardware/software integration, testing, and flight activities while collaborating with experienced engineers. The role emphasizes MBSE, model-based design, and data-driven assessment, with security clearance

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in STEM fields required by start date.
• Experience in Systems Engineering or radar fundamentals preferred.
• Experience with algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, and data analysis (MATLAB).
• Experience can be gained via on‑the‑job work, research, coursework, or projects.
• Secret Security Clearance preferred.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Majors include Electrical, Aerospace, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Math, Physics.
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python.
• Proficiency in MATLAB.
• Hands‑on testing of electronic equipment in labs.
• Troubleshooting system/electronic issues.
• Knowledge of signal processing, control theory, statistics, information theory, and detection methods.
• Imaging/pattern recognition.
• Data filtering (Kalman, batch, optimal estimation).
• Advanced statistics.
• DOORS or CAMEO

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and develop requirements for radar systems.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and data analysis across the product lifecycle.
• Support verification, validation, flight tests, and production activities.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings for stakeholders.
