Job summary
SimVentions, based in Virginia, seeks a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar and naval programs. The role focuses on requirements development, system integration, analysis, and lifecycle verification, with travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and Navy sites as needed.
An active Secret clearance is required. A BS/BA in a STEM field (ABET-accredited engineering or related) is expected, along with 4+ years of applicable experience. Compensation ranges from $102,000 to $147,000 plus benefits.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Experience in requirements development and verification.
- Proven systems integration and interface documentation skills.
- Experience with radar or complex defense systems preferred.
- Ability to work with MBSE tools and government teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements and interface documents.
- Support architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
- Develop test plans using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
