SimVentions, Inc is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and lifecycle integration across programs.
The candidate will develop and maintain system requirements, perform modeling and simulations, and work with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Expect travel to testing sites and potential lab or integration activities while maintaining traceability throughout
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- Experience with requirements development, specification management, and traceability across the lifecycle.
- Experience with radar systems, sensor tech, Navy combat systems, or related defense systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
- Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
- Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
