Job summary
SimVentions is an employee-owned company supporting U.S. Navy radar engineering capabilities. This technical role focuses on systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and integration throughout the lifecycle. Travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and Navy yards is required, with up to five trips per year.
An ACTIVE Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. Minimum BS/BA in a STEM field; ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
- Experience developing, managing, and tracing system requirements and interfaces.
- Experience supporting radar systems or Navy combat systems or similar.
- Use of engineering models/simulations to assess performance and support decisions.
- Experience planning and executing system testing and analyzing data.
- Familiarity with MBSE tools/processes for design and integration.
- Ability to work with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specs, and interface docs.
- Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification and testing activities.
- Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
