Job summary

Walmart in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in our local store. You will use hand, power, and digital tools to complete corrective and preventive work while documenting activities in the work order system.

The role requires 2 years in commercial HVAC/R maintenance, EPA refrigeration certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using tools and equipment to complete jobs
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support Stores and Store associates
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policy
