Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC equipment at local Walmart facilities. The role requires hands-on use of commercial HVAC tools, digital and power tools, and teamwork to keep stores running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance, large-scale rack experience, EPA refrigerant certification, a valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
• EPA Certification Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using suitable tools.
• Utilize work orders to receive repairs and document activities for Stores.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policies.
