Job summary

Walmart's San Jose store is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC systems across our facilities, using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, power tools, and digital devices.

Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance, Large Scale Rack Refrigeration experience, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, and a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Respond to repair Work Orders and document activities.
• Inspect, diagnose, and test facilities and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
