Job summary

Walmart is recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair of refrigeration systems across local stores. You will work with commercial HVAC/Refrigeration equipment, using hand, digital and power tools to complete assigned jobs and document activities.

The role requires 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, Rack Refrigeration experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders for stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, diagnose, and test facilities and equipment to identify issues.
• Complete required safety trainings and follow Walmart safety policies and EPA guidelines.
