Job summary

EY is hiring in the San Francisco Bay Area for a senior finance transformation leader. You will drive end-to-end Record-to-Report and FP&A workstreams, redesign operating models, and deliver data-driven improvements across close, planning and reporting in a Media & Entertainment context.

You will oversee process design, complex workshops with executives, and multi-team delivery, while coaching staff and shaping client solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, R2R or FP&A process design; Controllership or FP&A operations; consulting experience strongly preferred.
• Proven Media & Entertainment sector experience.
• Strong executive communication, workshop facilitation and written deliverable skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end R2R workstreams across master data, assets, close, intercompany and reporting.
• Lead FP&A workstreams including planning, budgeting, forecasting and scenario management.
• Redesign R2R and FP&A operating models; deliver transformation initiatives to improve close, forecasting, and governance.
• Own business process design deliverables: process flows, requirements, KPIs, data requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with GPOs, business leads, SMRs and technology stakeholders; drive decisions and document dispositions.
• Manage day-to-day delivery: workplan, RAID log, scope, quality and global delivery leverage.
• Translate pain points into quantified value cases: close cycle time, forecasting accuracy, cashflow, reductions.
• Coach staff; contribute to proposals, Phase 0 assessments and thought leadership.
