Job summary

EY in San Francisco/Bay Area seeks a Manager to lead design and delivery of technology-enabled finance transformations, focusing on R2R and FP&A, with Media & Entertainment sector fluency. The role emphasizes end-to-end process improvement, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires extensive experience in finance transformation, strong communication, and the ability to drive workshops with senior stakeholders across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in finance transformation, R2R or FP&A process design; Controllership or FP&A operations; consulting experience strongly preferred.
• Proven Media & Entertainment sector experience.
• Strong executive communication, workshop facilitation and written deliverable skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end R2R workstreams across master data, assets, projects, close, intercompany, consolidations, and reporting.
• Lead end-to-end FP&A workstreams: planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario management.
• Assess and redesign R2R and FP&A operating models and processes; deliver transformation initiatives.
• Own business process design deliverables including flows, requirements, KPIs, and data needs.
• Facilitate design workshops with Global Process Owners and stakeholders; drive decisions.
• Manage day-to-day delivery: workplan, RAID log, scope, deliverable quality, and delivery leverage.
• Translate R2R pain points into quantified value cases for close cycle time and accuracy; FP&A for forecast and budgeting improvements.
• Coach staff; contribute to proposals, Phase 0 assessments and sector thought leadership.
