Job summary

Silvus Technologies, based in West Los Angeles, is seeking a Senior System Test & Automation Engineer to own test strategy, automate validation, and demonstrate our MANET/MIMO products under development. The role is onsite, requires a clear track record in embedded firmware testing and software scripting, and involves collaboration with R&D and product teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
At least 10 years of experience in system test and automation.
Strong embedded firmware development, testing, scripting (C/C++, Python) skills.
Experience with wireless networking in an electronics R&D or manufacturing setting.
Proven ability to operate lab instruments and lab environments for testing.
U.S. citizenship is required for government-related work; background check and drug test are required.

Responsibilities

Own the design and execution of full coverage test procedures for wireless systems.
Develop test plans, implement automation, and troubleshoot new designs.
Collaborate with R&D system engineers and software team to extend test capabilities.
Design logging and analysis tools to evaluate system performance.
Maintain and optimize lab test setups and environments for accurate testing.
Perform firmware/hardware changes to harden features and validate fixes.
Occasional domestic travel to support experiments and demonstrations.
