Job summary

Silvus Technologies, now part of Motorola Solutions, seeks an Intern - Wireless Systems Engineer to assist senior engineers on wireless DSP and networking projects at the West LA headquarters. You will design, simulate, and evaluate RF algorithms while gaining hands-on experience with Silvus radios and prototypes.

This full-time on-site internship requires an Electrical Engineering student with DSP and transmission methods knowledge, plus linear algebra basics. U.S.

Qualifications

• In-progress Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of transmission methods and DSP.
• Exposure to linear algebra and eigenvectors.
• U.S. citizen; background check and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Design and parameterize algorithms for wireless systems.
• Simulate and evaluate communication systems and DSP algorithms.
• Work with Silvus radios and R&D prototypes.
• Perform system testing with lab equipment and data capture.
• Contribute to technical documentation and presentations.
• Assist with field test planning and execution.
