Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a seasoned Manager, Engineering - R&D Test Center to lead and standardize project engineering activities within the testing organization. You will own the DCR process and ensure projects are planned, executed, documented, and closed per company procedures.

You will oversee project engineers, drive portfolio visibility, and coordinate with test operations to align capacity, priorities, and resources with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of engineering, testing, product development, or technical project management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, including leading project engineering teams.
• Strong project and portfolio management, organizational, planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, standardize, and continuously improve project engineering activities within the testing organization.
• Own the DCR process from creation and approval through execution, change management, documentation, and closeout.
• Provide portfolio visibility, resource planning, and coordination with test operations across multiple projects.
• Ensure certification testing is conducted per standards with proper documentation, reports, and audits.
• Drive continuous improvement of project engineering and DCR processes, including lessons learned.
