Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Manager, Engineering – R&D Test Center to lead and standardize project engineering activities within the testing organization. You will oversee Project Engineers, own the Development Center Request process, and ensure projects are properly planned, executed, documented, and closed per procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in engineering, testing, product development, or technical project management.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience leading project engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple complex technical projects with portfolio visibility.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Engineers, establish priorities, provide coaching and performance management.
• Own the DCR process from creation through closeout, with governance and compliance.
• Ensure certification testing plans meet standards and align with product priorities.
• Maintain portfolio visibility, dashboards, and status updates for leadership.
• Coordinate with Test Operations to balance capacity and resources across projects.
