SPX Technologies in Missouri is seeking a Manager, Engineering – R&D Test Center to lead and standardize project engineering activities within the testing organization. You will guide engineering teams and ensure alignment with testing objectives and certification requirements.

You will own the DCR process, manage project engineers, align priorities with testing capacity, and collaborate with certification, customers, and leadership to deliver projects efficiently.

Formación

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, testing, product development, or technical project management.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience leading project engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with portfolio visibility.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent business and technical communication with customers and executive leadership.
• Experience with engineering resource planning and data analysis.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering projects and govern the DCR process end-to-end.
• Directly supervise Project Engineers, set priorities, coach and mentor.
• Ensure test plans, scope, and documentation meet requirements.
• Coordinate with Test Operations to balance capacity and resources.
• Provide portfolio status updates to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support customer reviews.
