Job summary

The Kinsa Group in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an R&D Manager to lead product development for sauces, dressings, marinades and related products. You will drive discovery, formulation, validation, scale-up and commercialization while ensuring sensory, nutritional, cost, quality, regulatory and manufacturing requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field with 7+ years in food product development and strong people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a food science or related field.
• 7+ years of food product development experience.
• Leadership experience in a cross-functional team.
• Expertise in sauces and dressings and related products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the R&D team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Manage customer product development from concept through commercialization.
• Provide technical and culinary expertise for sauces, dressings, marinades and syrups.
• Oversee pipeline with disciplined testing, documentation, and data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams on trials, launches and troubleshooting.
• Ensure food safety, regulatory, labeling and GMP compliance.
