Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Sr. Scientist, R&D - Product Development to lead technical projects in North America, focusing on innovation and renovation of the Sauces & Condiments portfolio.

You will drive feasibility, prototype work, and factory trials while collaborating with cross-functional teams to commercialize products. The role requires strong science background, ability to manage multiple assignments, and effective communication to translate data into actionable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong understanding of food chemistry, analytical testing, formulations and processing.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and communicating results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize new products and renovate existing sauces & condiments.
• Scope and drive highly technical projects to meet platform and innovation objectives.
• Mentor junior developers on projects where appropriate.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototype development, costing, and factory trials.
• Document recipes, labels and technical specifications for production.
• Apply scientific principles to new situations and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
