Job summary

Signature Kettle Crafted is seeking an experienced R&D professional to drive product development for sauces, dressings, and marinades from bench-top concepts to scalable production. The role supports sales and production with technical guidance and data-driven decision making.

You will write product specifications and procedures, analyze data, and work with lab equipment while ensuring GMP/SSOP compliance and adherence to USDA/FDA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must understand ingredient functionality and be able to analyze formulas.
• Capable of writing product specs and procedures with clear documentation.
• Ability to collect and analyze data and report progress on projects.
• Comfortable using lab analytical equipment and following regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products from bench-top concepts to commercially producible products.
• Provide technical support to sales and production teams.
• Reverse engineer recipes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs and food safety regulations.
• Keep documentation of progress and results.
