Job summary

SSS Of Parma seeks a food R&D specialist to develop sauces, dressings and marinades from bench-top concepts to commercially viable products. You will provide technical support to sales and production, and reverse engineer recipes to meet specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include documenting results, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with GMP, SSOP, and USDA/FDA regulations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ingredient functionality and how ingredients behave in formulations.
• Ability to read and analyze formulas and adjust technical specs.
• Ability to write precise product specifications and procedures.
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data from experiments.
• Proficiency with lab analytical equipment.
• Understanding of GMP, SSOP, allergens, and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with USDA and FDA regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products from bench-top concept to producible formats.
