Job summary

Delta Faucet Company is seeking an experienced R&D Lead System Architect to drive exploration, research, and development of new technologies. You will influence business strategy by delivering innovative products and working with a broad technical team.

In this role, you will lead design and prototyping efforts, manage large-scale projects, and collaborate with internal and external partners to meet consumer needs while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of design and/or systems engineering experience in a technical capacity.
• Experience with computer aided design and analysis tools; Creo preferred.
• Familiarity with prototyping processes including 3D printing and manufacturing processes such as injection molding, casting, machining, stamping, and assembly.
• Experience with cost modeling and Quality Management Systems, DFMEA, GD&T, and Design of Experiments.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and contribute to the Innovation Pipeline including ideation, exploration, and definition.
• Lead design and development of groundbreaking products and systems.
• Define and execute plans for large-scale projects with complex requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to transfer technology and scale prototypes to production.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards and stay up to date on regulatory requirements.
