Job summary

Delta Faucet Company seeks an experienced R&D Lead System Architect to drive exploration of new technologies for consumer and installer needs, collaborating with the innovation team to translate insights into scalable products. This role works across design, prototyping, and vendor relationships to enable impactful solutions.

You will guide the development of groundbreaking products, manage complex projects, and ensure alignment with regulatory codes while partnering with marketing to optimize

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of design and/or systems engineering experience.
• Experience with product development processes and multiple design aspects.
• Patent inventorship or IP development experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD and analysis tools, Creo preferred.
• Familiarity with prototyping processes and production manufacturing.
• Experience with DFMEA, GD&T, and Design of Experiments.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or similar systems is a plus.
• Willingness to stretch into different disciplines including electronics/firmware design and regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and contribute to the Innovation Pipeline including ideation, exploration, and definition.
• Help create new decision maker solutions through development of products and systems.
• Work with external and internal entities on interpretation of codes and standards and select components, materials and processes.
• Define and execute plans to implement large scale, complex projects with conflicting requirements.
• Design responsibility for new products and platforms and coordinate prototypes and tech transfers.
• Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to refine product specifications for consumer benefit.
