Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of desktop, laboratory, or end-user support experience.
• Imaging and configuring Windows desktops and laptops.
• Installing and troubleshooting software and hardware.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and user access.
• Experience supporting backups, disaster recovery, and security patching.
• Strong documentation and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Image, build, and configure desktops and laptops using the approved corporate image.
• Install required software and configure local user profiles and administrative access.
• Install, configure, and support laboratory, engineering, and scientific applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, and workstation issues.
• Coordinate workstation relocations and equipment moves.
• Create and maintain documentation for hardware builds, software installations, and support procedures.
• Update security and access logs for limited-access laboratory computers.
• Manage and troubleshoot computer backups and Windows data backups.
• Test network drops and coordinate requests for new cabling.
