Job summary

Legend Biotech in Somerset, NJ is seeking an R&D Applications Specialist to support and enhance laboratory IT capabilities for our R&D teams. You will help operate and improve LIMS/ELN and related applications, ensuring compliant, efficient lab computing environments.

You will configure LabVantage and BMRAM, support user needs, provide training, and coordinate with lab, manufacturing and IT teams to meet project timelines and quality goals.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 3–5 years of biotech/pharma experience.
• Understanding of GxP software administration and lab IT.
• Experience installing, configuring and supporting lab systems.
• Experience with direct customer/user interaction, including training.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Equipment/Asset Platform (BMRAM), LIMS/ELN (LabVantage) and other lab applications.
• Configure/enhance BMRAM per business requirements and ensure compliance.
• Configure/develop LabVantage LIMS/ELN updates and manage master data in lab systems.
• Troubleshoot instrument software on lab computers and lab connectivity.
• Provision user accounts for stand-alone and networked equipment and software.
• Collaborate with lab, manufacturing, analytical support and IT teams to capture needs.
