Job summary

Amgen seeks a Grad Intern in R&D Execution, Operations & Strategy (R&D EOS) for Summer 2027 to help drive digital strategies, knowledge management, and process optimization across the organization. The role emphasizes collaboration with Research & Development, CTO, and Quality & Compliance teams.

The intern will work on projects across Strategy, Portfolio & Program Management, and R&D Operations, gaining hands-on experience with AI tools and SMPA procedures while delivering tangible results.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts.
• Experience with AI tools, prompt design, and evaluating AI-generated responses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support a project within one of our functional areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and programs.
• Develop clear agent instructions and prompts guiding users to approved sources material.
• Create representative test questions and evaluate AI responses for accuracy and clarity.
• Present findings to executives and stakeholders.
