Amgen invites applications for a Graduate Intern in R&D Execution, Operations & Strategy (R&D EOS) for Summer 2027. The internship spans about 12 weeks with project-based and experiential learning.

You’ll join a cross-functional team driving innovation beyond the molecule and applying digital strategies to streamline processes. You will work across Strategy, Portfolio & Program Management, R&D Business Operations, and R&D Knowledge & Learning, contributing to real projects and gaining exposure

Qualifikationen

• 18 years or older
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Currently enrolled in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD or PhD program and will complete first year before internship

Aufgaben

• Support a project within one of the functional areas
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve R&D EOS competitiveness
• Contribute analytical, leadership, and communication skills to projects
• Present findings through intern-wide poster sessions and final readouts to executives
• Engage in learning activities and network with colleagues across Amgen
• Meet with internal stakeholders to identify questions about procedures
• Review and organize SMPA procedures and reference materials
• Build SMPA Procedures agent using Copilot/ChatGPT tools
• Create clear agent instructions and prompting
• Prepare test questions and evaluate AI responses
