Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking graduate interns for the R&D Execution, Operations & Strategy (R&D EOS) group for Summer 2027.

The internship lasts about 12 weeks and blends project work with experiential learning within a cross-functional team across R&D EOS functions. Interns will support projects in Strategy, Portfolio & Program Management, R&D Business Operations, and R&D Knowledge & Learning, gaining exposure to budget planning, process improvements, and digital initiatives.

Qualifications

Must be available to work full-time and be located in the United States during the internship.
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree; or currently enrolled and eligible for an MBA/ Master’s/PharmD/PhD internship.
Internship duration ~12 weeks with project-based and experiential learning.

Responsibilities

Support a project within one functional area of R&D EOS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve speed, agility and execution.
Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop recommendations and deliver final projects.
Present deliverables in an intern-wide poster session and to executive management.
Engage in learning activities and network across the company.
