Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 5 years hands-on experience with repairing industrial machinery.
• Solid mechanical aptitude, understanding of control systems, and ability to use hand tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with engineering staff.
• Able to work standing, lift up to 35 lbs, and work shifts including overtime.
• Experience with Inventor or similar drawing programs; proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to travel up to 70% during project execution.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment including presses and cartridge loaders.
• Program CNC mills, lathes, wire EDM, and sinkers (preferred).
• Read, edit, and create blueprints with CAD software.
• Perform precision measurements with micrometers and calipers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on drives, motors, belts and fluids.
• Interpret blueprints and military specifications.
• Cover production floor when supervision is unavailable.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and reference manuals for fixes.
• Prepare bills of materials, specs, and work orders.
