Job summary

AAON, a leader in commercial HVAC equipment, seeks an Engineering Technician to perform, approve, and review R&D testing of HVAC products in our Long View, Kentucky facility. You will support and direct technicians during testing in psychometric chambers and take on small projects to advance the R&D Testing Laboratory.

You will collaborate with Project Engineers and Lab Technicians, maintain test data integrity, and ensure compliance with DOE, ASHRAE, ASME, ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Project Engineers and Lab Technicians to determine testing actions.
• Maintains complete bill of materials, detailing parts used during testing.
• Reviews test plans to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Ensures testing equipment and parts are available to maintain schedule.
• Coordinates testing of HVAC equipment in various test setups and psychrometric chambers.
