Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Tulsa, OK seeks an engineer to perform, approve, and review R&D testing of HVAC products in psychometric test chambers, directing Technicians and supporting small projects.

You will coordinate with engineers, prepare BOMs, review test plans, ensure calibration, and analyze data to verify DOE/ASHRAE/ISO standards; requires ABET degree and EPA 608 license; 1–2 years HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent.
• Four-year ABET accredited degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree in Applied Sciences.
• Minimum of 1-2 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Project Engineers and Lab Technicians to determine testing actions.
• Provides complete bill of materials by defining parts usage during testing and rework.
• Reviews test plans to ensure designs are met.
• Ensures equipment and parts for testing and rework are available to maintain schedule.
• Coordinates testing of HVAC equipment in various test setups and psychrometric chambers.
• Ensures test chamber and equipment are calibrated and functioning correctly.
