AAON, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician I in Redmond to provide entry-level technical support across engineering, testing, manufacturing, and product development.

You will help with equipment setup, documentation, and assembly while developing HVAC, lab, and process knowledge under close supervision. Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with technical coursework or training in HVAC, electronics, or manufacturing.
• 0+ years in a technical, manufacturing, or engineering support role or equivalent background.
• Preferred: technical or vocational education in a related field; exposure to HVAC systems or labs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of testing equipment and lab systems.
• Support assembly of HVAC components, prototypes, and test fixtures per procedures.
• Record test data accurately and maintain documentation.
• Assist engineering staff with testing, inspections, and validation activities.
• Perform routine measurements and use basic testing equipment.
• Follow procedures, safety rules, and quality standards in all tasks.
• Maintain organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with prototype builds and engineering evaluations.
• Support inventory management of lab supplies and test equipment.
• Participate in technical training and report preparation.
