Job summary

AAON is seeking an Engineering Technician I to provide entry-level technical support for engineering, testing, manufacturing, and product development activities. You will assist with equipment setup, product testing, documentation, and assembly in a safe, organized laboratory environment.

The role emphasizes learning HVAC systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards under supervision, contributing to product quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with HVAC, electronics, manufacturing tech, or related field; 0+ years in a technical/engineering support role or equivalent.
• Preferred: technical or vocational education in a related field; exposure to HVAC systems and lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of testing equipment and lab systems.
• Support assembly of HVAC components, prototypes, and test fixtures.
• Record test data accurately and maintain technical docs and records.
• Assist engineering and technical staff with product testing, inspections, and validation.
• Follow procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
