Job summary

Horiba Instruments in Reno, NV is seeking an R&D Coordinator to support our North American Semiconductor group's R&D initiatives at the Reno Technology Center.

You will coordinate export control, track budgets, manage JIRA tasks, and build KPI reports in JIRA/Confluence, while assisting patent activities and global meetings. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a high-tech setting, strong admin skills with MS Office and Atlassian tools, and a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in a high-tech engineering or research environment.
• Degree in a related field preferred (AA/AS/BA/BS).
• Strong administrative duties experience with MS Office and SharePoint.
• Atlassian/Jira/Confluence experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate export control and document classifications.
• Interface with R&D team for budget forecasting.
• Assist in creating, tracking and status of R&D JIRA related tasks.
• Create and maintain R&D KPI’s in JIRA and Confluence.
• Assist with the coordination of Global R&D meetings and document new materials, procedures and best practices for Global R&D Team.
• Assist Global R&D patent team with invention disclosures, patent tracking and correspondence with US patent attorneys and/or paralegals.
• Help administer and organize Confluence Wiki and Jira instances.
• Other duties as assigned.
