Job summary

HORIBA’s North American Semiconductor group in Reno seeks an R&D Coordinator to support engineering initiatives at the Reno Technology Center. The role focuses on coordinating export control classifications, budget forecasting with the R&D team, and tracking JIRA tasks.

You will create KPI dashboards in JIRA and Confluence, assist with patent disclosures and communications with US patent attorneys, organize Confluence and Jira, and help with meetings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in a high technology engineering/research environment preferred.
• Degree in related field preferred (AA, AS, BA, BS).

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate export control and document classifications.
• Interface with R&D team for budget forecasting.
• Assist in creating, tracking and status of R&D JIRA related tasks.
• Create and maintain R&D KPI’s in JIRA and Confluence.
• Assist with the coordination of Global R&D meetings and document new materials, procedures and best practices for Global R&D Team.
• Assist Global R&D patent team with invention disclosures, patent tracking and correspondence with US patent attorneys and/or paralegals.
• Help administer and organize Confluence Wiki and Jira instances.
• Other duties as assigned.
