Job summary

HORIBA Instruments, part of the HORIBA Group, is seeking a proactive R&D Coordinator at our Reno Technology Center to support North American Semiconductor initiatives. You will coordinate export controls, track budgets, and manage R&D tasks in JIRA and Confluence.

Collaborating with global R&D teams, you will help document new materials, procedures, and best practices while supporting patent activities with the US attorneys and paralegals.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in a high-technology engineering/research environment preferred.
• Degree in a related field preferred (AA/AS/BA/BS).
• Experience with administrative duties and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export control and document classifications.
• Interface with R&D team for budget forecasting.
• Assist in creating, tracking and updating R&D JIRA tasks.
• Create and maintain R&D KPI’s in JIRA and Confluence.
• Coordinate Global R&D meetings and document new materials, procedures and best practices.
• Assist Global R&D patent team with invention disclosures and patent tracking.
