Louisiana Cat is seeking a Quote Specialist at our Reserve, LA location to support the sales team with accurate quotations and pricing. You will collaborate with sales reps and suppliers to ensure timely quotes and compliant pricing, while driving upsell opportunities and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 2 years of machine sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and problem‑solving ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Create accurate and timely quotations for customers, ensuring that all information is complete.
• Interact with vendors to obtain special pricing and special‑order items.
• Review requests for quotes (RFQs) and ensure all necessary information is obtained from the sales representative.
• Work with territory sales reps to identify & communicate opportunities for upselling / cross‑selling.
• Provide accurate and up‑to‑date pricing information for all products and services requested.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that all quotes are compliant with company policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to territory sales rep inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that all opportunities are properly qualified and pursued.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks, such as finance requests, machine blocks, machine demo requests, etc.
• Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of quoting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and self‑manage daily workload.
• Attend all department and sales meetings as requested.
