Rexel USA is seeking a Quotations Specialist for our Platt team in West Valley, UT. The role focuses on establishing customer and vendor relationships to secure pricing for bids and delivering well-structured quotations.

You will review bid packages, collaborate with Outside Sales, format requests into bid spreadsheets, and prepare final proposals with required documentation, while negotiating pricing as needed.

Formación

• 2+ years of customer service, project management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls, or adjacent industry preferred.
• High School or GED is required.

Responsabilidades

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid package and all requirements including technical, approved manufacturers list, commercial and documentation needs.
• Work with Outside Sales or branches to discuss strategy for proposals.
• Format customer request into a standardized bid spreadsheet.
• Break down bid package and issue RFQ to vendors and communicate deadlines.
• Receive pricing and assemble bid tabulations for review.
• Prepare and submit final proposal with all required documentation.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and suggest substitute products when appropriate.
• Participate in product meetings and training to maintain product knowledge.
• Meet with team to discuss vendor strategy and margins.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Utilize company digital tools to sell or promote products to customers.
