Rexel USA is seeking a Quotations Specialist to join Platt team in Boise, ID. You will manage bid packages, prepare quotations, and coordinate with sales and vendors to secure pricing for proposals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with customers and suppliers, with responsibilities spanning bid analysis, RFQ issuance, and final proposal submission. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and familiarity with Excel are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, project management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical distribution, lighting, and controls preferred.
• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Quote low to moderate profile/complex projects.
• Review bid packages and technical/commercial requirements.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales or branches on proposal strategy.
• Format customer requests into bid spreadsheets.
• Issue RFQs to vendors and assemble bid tabulations.
• Prepare and submit final proposals with required documentation.
• Negotiate pricing and substitute products when appropriate.
• Maintain vendor and customer relationships and share product knowledge.
